Alma, twenty, returns to her hometown, seeking a moment of respite by the lake where she spent her childhood. However, her chill escape is interrupted by the unexpected reunion with Martina, her lifelong best friend, now accompanied by two new acquaintances. This encounter forces Alma to confront the uncomfortable reality of Martina's new life and the unspoken distance that has grown between them. As they navigate an afternoon filled with casual conversation and hidden resentments, Alma grapples with the feeling of being an outsider in a world that once was theirs.

The past and present intertwine by the lake's edge, culminating in Alma’s solitary reflection on what has been lost and what might still be salvaged. My role in this project was still photographer.
